Sound Tree Entertainment will donate portions of ticket sales from the Mitchel Musso Sunshine Stadium Tour to the results oriented program Blessings in a Backpack.

In Head Start schools around the country, children are ready to learn on Monday morning’s all attributed to the success of Louisville-based nonprofit organization Blessings in a Backpack. Blessings in a Backpack is a unique program designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for the federal free and reduced meal program and may not have any or enough food for the weekends. Each child is sent home on Friday afternoon with a backpack full of food that requires little to no preparation. The children return to school on Monday attentive and eager to learn. It is proven that 70% of the students that participate in this program have better attendance habits, higher test scores, improved reading skills and positive behavior.

Sound Tree Entertainment believes that children are the future; we feel that supporting this program is crucial to improve the lives, health and well being of these children especially during these difficult times. The Blessings in a Backpack program is feeding more than 10,000 students and we are overjoyed to be a part of this statistic. Ensuring that children are safe and well fed is our primary goal of the concerts. If you would like to donate money, backpacks, or non-perishable food in boxes or plastic containers visit the box office prior to each concert.
